Biggest Challenge:

  • Time (Less than 2 weeks)

For the 2018 Super Bowl, Kia promoted their newest model and first performance model that rivals Porsche and BMW. We enlisted rock legend Steven Tyler to go back in time to his youth. 

We first launchd with a :15s broadcast teaser followed by the simulatanous release of the Super Bowl spot and the reverse of the spot which included a secret message from Tyler in an ode to back-masking on old rock records. 

To complete the campaign, we promoted the video through an email blast to the Aerosmith fan club, created GIFs and still for social reactions, built HTML 5 banners promoting the Stinger and suprised users who correctly guessed Tyler's hidden message with autographed scarves which were replicas to the scarf he holds in the Super Bowl spot.
