"The Luxury Experts" Test Drive
Kia Cadenza
Kia's number one challenge within the perspective buyer market is perception. While it checks the box for small affordable cars, there is a lack of awareness to how far Kia has come with its larger models. That's why we decided to do a doc style piece using the real luxury car model experts - Los Angeles valets. They drive the most exclusive cars in the world day in and day out.
Under the code name "Project Phoenix", we cast real valets and put them through a series of tests to see if they could accurately identify the Kia Cadenza amongst Audi, Mercedes and BMW. Hint: They couldn't.
We followed up this digital content with a broadcast spot featuring Christina Hendricks overlooking Kia's German competitors and walking to her Kia Cadenza. From this we created :15s cut-downs for use in pre-roll advertising and social.
